NanoTech West
The Ohio NanoTech West Lab is the research home of Ohio State's Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center for Affordable Nanoengineering of Polymeric Biomolecular Devices. It was built through a $27 million investment from the state and is designed to integrate microfabrication and support a broad range of activities, including micro-electromechanical system applications and polymer sysnthesis and processing. These facilities are being enhanced to support research in nanobiotechnology and commercialization through a $7 million capital funds grant from the state of Ohio. The building measures 20,000 square feet and includes 6,000 square feet of Class 100 cleanrooms and a 4,000-square-foot biohybrid lab.
